Market integrity and exchange information
Can affiliates of XV Exchange trade?
The Rulebook permits an affiliate to trade as a member with Board approval and subject to safeguards. These include operational independence, restrictions on access to nonpublic information, and compliance with Exchange rules. This permission does not guarantee that an affiliate will provide liquidity.
How are affiliate conflicts managed?
Rule 2.12 sets conditions for affiliate participation, including separation of operations and limits on access to Exchange information. The Rulebook also provides for disclosures when affiliate trading activities change materially.
What is a market maker?
A market maker is a member designated under an Exchange program to provide trading interest subject to the program’s requirements. Market makers may receive program benefits. Their participation does not guarantee an available price or execution for every order.
Where can I find market information and notices?
The STX website provides the Rulebook, contract specifications, and notices of applicable changes. Review these resources for trading halts, emergency actions, contract changes, and other information affecting your orders or positions.
Where can I see my executed trades?
The Rulebook provides for a record of executed trades on the member activity page. Review the confirmation and order history to distinguish an open order from a completed trade. Contact Customer Support if the records appear incorrect.
